Driven by a deep desire to help people live a healthy life, I dreamed of being a physician from my early childhood. I grew up in a small rural town in western New York where our family doctor was part of the fabric of our daily lives. We went to school with his children, sang with his family at church, and saw them at neighborhood parties. Going to his office was never scary — the receptionist was my friend’s mom and the nurse was his wife. He always took his time with us, listened closely, answered all our questions, and did his best to take care of us. That image became the foundation of my current medical practice.
Fast forward many years and in 2002, I moved to Connecticut to continue my medical training in Middletown and get married. Since then, I have lived in Shelton and Monroe for over 20 years. My very supportive husband, Dave, and I have built a wonderful life here — with 2 kids, a dog, 2 cats, a flock of chickens and a huge garden, to boot.
I have practiced medicine in a wide variety of settings — from hospitals to community health centers. However, my passion lies in running my own small office for the last 15 years, first in Trumbull, and now in Monroe. Here, I am able to create the relationships with my patients that I value so much, and the kind that were so important in that little town where I grew up.
After 10+ years providing primary care to the community, along with osteopathic treatments, I am now focusing solely on osteopathic medicine and acupuncture. Together, we will determine the best approach to your personal concerns. I am truly blessed and look forward to seeing you soon!
